1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing FourthTee, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. FourthTee provides a scheduling interface; we do not own, manage, or partner with the golf courses listed on the Grid.

2. Member Conduct & “The Spirit of the Game”

Golf is a game of integrity. Members agree to:

  • Pace of Play: Adhere to the pace of play standards defined in their profile.
  • FourthTee reserves the right to track cancellation patterns and act accordingly.
  • Course Rules: Follow all local course rules, dress codes, and etiquette.
  • Safety: Never intentionally endanger other players or course staff.
  • No-Show Policy: Respect your peers by canceling a “Join” at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated no-shows are grounds for account termination.

3. Release of Liability (The “Real World” Clause)

FourthTee is not responsible for what happens at the golf course. * You acknowledge that golf involves inherent risks (errant balls, lightning, cart accidents).

  • You agree to release FourthTee, its developers, and its affiliates from any and all liability related to physical injury, property damage, or disputes arising from meetups coordinated via the platform.
  • We do not perform background checks. You are responsible for your own safety when meeting strangers in a public setting.

4. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

  • Harassment of other members.
  • Misrepresenting handicap or skill level.
  • Providing false information on the Grid.
  • Any conduct that brings the FourthTee community into disrepute.

5. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall FourthTee be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use the service.
