How FourthTee Works

Everything you need to know to find a game, join a round, and get out on the course.

1

Create Your Free Account

Head to the Join page and fill out a short form — your name, email, and home club. That's it. A member of the group reviews every application, so you'll get a confirmation email once you're approved (usually within a day).

✓ No credit card. No password to create.
2

Log In With a Magic Link

FourthTee is passwordless. When you want to log in, go to the Login page, enter your email address, and we'll send you a secure one-click link. Click it and you're in — no password to remember, ever.

The link works for 72 hours and on any device. Once you're logged in, you'll stay logged in for 90 days.

✉ Check your spam folder if the email takes more than a minute.
3

Browse the Schedule

After logging in you'll land on the Tee Times schedule — a live list of all upcoming games. Each card shows the course, date, time, format, and how many spots are left.

Use the filters to narrow by date or course. Games fill up, so check back regularly.

4

RSVP to a Round

Open any game and tap I'm In to claim your spot. You'll get a confirmation and a calendar invite by email. If your plans change, you can withdraw your RSVP from the same page — just give the host as much notice as possible.

📅 A .ics calendar file is attached to every confirmation email.
5

Post Your Own Tee Time

Got a tee time and need to fill the group? Hit + New Game on the schedule page, enter the details — course, date, time, format, and available spots — and it goes live immediately for other members to join.

You can also invite specific members or send email invites to friends who aren't on FourthTee yet. Invited guests get a direct link to your game.

🏌 Anyone can host — you don't need a special role.

Good to Know Tap any question for the answer.

You'll get a confirmation email straight away with a .ics calendar file attached — tap it to add the game directly to your phone's calendar. The game card on the schedule will also update to show you as In.

The booking status (Pending / Confirmed) reflects whether the host has secured the tee time with the course. FourthTee fills the group — you still need the host to confirm the actual booking directly with the course.

Go back to the game on the schedule and tap Can't Make It. Your spot opens back up for another member. Please give the host as much notice as you can — especially for Confirmed bookings where the course may already have the group size locked in.

Changed your mind again? Tap I'm Back In on the same card to re-join, as long as a spot is still available.

Open games are visible to all members on the schedule and anyone can RSVP.

Private / Invite Only games are hosted by a member but only visible to people the host has specifically invited. If you received an invite link in an email, that's how you access it. Private games don't appear in the public schedule.

On your game card, open the Manage panel. You can invite existing FourthTee members by name, or type any email address to send an invite to someone who isn't a member yet.

Non-members get an email with a direct link to your game. If they don't have an account they'll be prompted to join — once approved, they land right on the game page.

Tap the Roster button on any game card to expand the full player list — names, RSVP status, and how many spots remain. The roster is visible to all logged-in members.

Just go to the Login page and enter your email. We'll send a fresh link — click it and you're in. Don't try to reuse an old link from a previous email; always request a new one for a new device or browser.

Once logged in you'll stay logged in for 90 days, so you shouldn't need to do this often.

Links expire after 72 hours. If yours has expired, just request a new one — it only takes a few seconds.

If a brand-new link isn't working, check that you're clicking it directly from your email app rather than copying and pasting it into a browser. Also check your spam folder in case a second email landed there.

Yes — FourthTee coordinates the group, not the booking. The host is responsible for securing the tee time directly with the course. Once that's done, the host can update the game status to Confirmed so everyone knows the round is locked in.

Think of FourthTee as the group chat and RSVP system — the actual tee sheet is still managed through the course.
